What did you learn from the Royal Wedding?

Meghan Markle Was Trying To Tell You Something!
You missed something on Saturday. If like 29million people all over the world, you tuned in to watch The Royal Wedding, and you missed Meghan’s subtle hints about your business then you need to continue reading. Now the click bate is done with, we can get into the good stuff. I don’t think anyone is fully recovered from The Royal Wedding between Meghan Markle and Prince Harry so I thought I’d go over what you missed aka all the things she was trying to tell entrepreneurs about product design. Don’t ask me how I know this, I just do!
1. Less is More: I mean did you see her make up? Meghan once said she loves make up that still allows her freckles show through. When you're designing your products, a BIG BIG BIG mistake owners/creative directors make is to over-design them. Can you compare her makeup to the Owambe makeup you see every Saturday? 2. To Thine Own Self Be True: Meghan's dress shocked most people. Everyone expected something puffy, sparkly, and straight out of Cinderella but she stayed true to her style, modern and structured. Same goes with your products, know your identity as a brand and be careful not to stray too far. Trends come and go but style is eternal. 3. What does it mean to you? The 53 commonwealth countries had their flora all adorned on Meghan’s veil. She was communicating her readiness to serve those nations as she walked down the aisle. As you design your products do it with intention. Something about your product design should connect intensely with your customers. Of course I enjoyed the wedding too but like I always say, whenever these global events take place, it's important to pay attention to what you can learn. Wonuola Okoye Principal Coach Big Startup
